Business Technology Office

Are you interested in IT and management consulting?

Technology is one of the most significant drivers of business value today. In 1997, McKinsey & Company formed the Business Technology Office (BTO) to help its clients realize this value by developing IT strategies, designing their IT governance and organization models, improving their business operations (including the use of outsourcing), strengthening the value of their customer relationships, and crafting innovative approaches to IT architecture.

BTO consultants work extensively across a wide variety of industries (financial services, telecommunications, energy and media, and many other areas) and while these consultants share a passion for technology, they also work across various functions to build a well-rounded leadership perspective.

The Business Technology Office is a competence-based, worldwide office of McKinsey. Comprising of nearly 450 consultants, it is one of the biggest and fastest growing offices of McKinsey. BTO has its locations in 27 cities all around the globe, including Prague.
