Declining performance of the Czech elementary and secondary school system: facts and solutions

Keen to contribute to the Czech Republic’s ongoing development, we chose the topic of education, specifically Czech elementary and secondary schools, as our 2010 pro bono study. In this report, we describe the key factors that have been hampering Czech student performance and suggest what could be done to improve it.

Costs and potentials of greenhouse gas abatement in the Czech Republic

The report neither evaluates the science of climate change nor its possible causes. It also intentionally avoids any assessment of policies and other governmental interventions. It is intended to provide an objective fact base of the costs and potentials of reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the Czech Republic and to serve as a starting point for further discussions and decisions.
